EU HORIZON MSCA Doctoral Network "ArCHe: Archaeological Coastal Heritage: Past, Present and Future of a Hidden Prehistoric Legacy"

Ten PhD positions have recently been announced on the general theme of Stone Age coastal hunter-fisher-gatherers within an innovative, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral Doctoral network focussing on the legacy of ancient hunter-fisher-gatherers across coastal areas of Europe.

The project involves collaboration between the Universities of Oslo, Cantabria, Latvia and Gothenburg, The CNRS and FIHAC (Fundación Instituto de Hidráulica Ambiental de Cantabria), along with nine additional associated partners in Estonia, France, Latvia, Norway, Spain and Sweden. ArCHe is offering PhDs in archaeology, archaeobiology, biology, social anthropology, cultural heritage studies, coastal engineering, geography and geology.
